Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength – Batch B1/23 Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Juicy notes of fruit salad lead to sweet, dried stone fruits, with peaches and plump sultanas backed by a touch of candied orange and oaken spice.
Palate: Silky mouthfeel, with layers of stewed, spiced fruits, vanilla cream, and mellow oak.
Finish: Warm oak builds, with baking spices, sherried fruit, and robust barley.
Distillery Information
In 1903, the Dublin branch of London-based importers W & A Gilbey released a 12-year-old whiskey known as John Jameson & Sons Castle “JJ Liqueur.” A few years later, in 1912, the Redbreast branding first appeared in marketing materials.
