Mount Gay holds the earliest deed for any rum distillery. A classic English style white rum, the Mount Gay Silver is distilled from molasses in a combination of column and pot-stills. It is aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of 2 year then filtered to render a white rum.
Mount Gay Silver Barbados Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: Nose of coconut, hints of banana and wafts of vanilla.
Palate: Notes of marshmallow, white pepper, white sugar, white flowers and vanilla.
Finish: Fairly sweet and very approachable.
