Nose: Cherry pie filling, orange zest, cacao nibs, candy-glazed almonds, weathered cedar.
Palate: Fig cookies, red velvet cake, streusel topping, dried rosemary, hickory.
Finish: Plum jam and dark chocolate-covered raspberries.
Distillery Information
David Perkins, a biochemist, was inspired by the Maker’s Mark distillery in Kentucky. He combined his scientific skills with his love for the American West and whiskey. High West started in a historic stable and garage in the Rocky Mountains. This gave it a rustic and authentic feel.
