“Back in 2010, I (John Palizzi) met an aged man when helping him move. He was tough as leather and brilliant. After loading most of his belongings he asked me a question. “Do you like Whiskey son?” I immediately replied, “Love it Sir.” So he put everything down and said “Let’s go for a ride.” We jumped in his old pickup truck, where he brought me to an old cave on his land. This is where he gave me a taste of bourbon whiskey he had been making since the 1940’s. He proceeded to show me his recipe and the little nuances of making this delicious treat. He gave me his recipe and showed me how to get to the heart of the bourbon whiskey and get rid of the head and tails of his special blend. Six months later this craftsman died of cancer, but his recipe still lives on. I have not changed a single thing and it is distilled and aged the same way he did it. Just before it is ready to bottle, we use natural fruit to infuse our bourbon whiskey to make some great whiskeys and then we wait some more.
