Spring 44 Vodka is made from what they describe as a “proprietary blend of American-grown grain.” It is filtered through a special “virgin coconut” carbon (charcoal) process (we don’t quite know what a “virgin” coconut is (anyone heard of a sullied coconut?) but we guess it suggests not having been used in any other filtration process). They note that there is not one drop of “municipal” water in the vodka but 100% Rocky Mountain artesian water.
Spring 44 Honey Vodka Tasting Notes
Nose: Aroma of honey, vanilla, nuts and a hint of pepper.
Palate: Initially sweet with notes of honey and floral hints of lavender. Mid-palate is creamy and more viscous with notes of vanilla and caramel.
Finish: Finish is long with notes of toasted nuts.

The word temperance means “total abstinence from all alcholic liquors.” Company is located in Temperance, MI. Full name is Temperance Distilling Company. Today They have over 60 clients producing more than 100 unique beverages for all different markets, demands, tastes, and locations. Pretty much the furthest thing from total abstinence.
