Plantation’s 2002 double-aged rum from Jamaica was aged initially for a decade in bourbon barrels before being finished for three years in Cognac casks. A rum full of vanilla and fruity notes.

Nose: Lovely and sweet, fruitcake and burnt caramel with subtle herbaceous notes.
Palate: Oodles of tropical fruit, most notably mango, dried apricot and coconut.
Finish: Minerality on the long finish, with subtle dried mango lingering.
Distillery Information
The 1990s see Alexandre Gabriel combing the Caribbean in search of the best rums of the region. Plantation is born: an artisanal range of rums from the great terroirs of the tropics.
