Locke + Co Distilling Big Catch Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Strong honey, vanilla notes with hints of dried berries, maple syrup and walnuts.
Palate: Full-bodied with caramel, honey, and vanilla. Some rye spice and peppercorn round out the pallet.
Finish: Long finish with caramel, black pepper, toffee, light brown sugar, cinnamon
Distillery Information
Locke’s Distillery established in 1757 is believed to be the oldest licensed distillery in the world. The three natural raw materials required for distillation were readily available. A ready supply of turf from the bogs, locally grown grain and the pure water from the Brusna River.
