Nose: Sweet, jammy cherries and berries with savoury, barbecued nuts, honeyed dates and rich oak.
Palate: Things open with just a whisper of peat smoke from that Islay barrel before waves of sweet maple syrup, candied pecans and buttery oak arrive.
Finish: Charred oak, mouth-filling caramel, toffee popcorn, cracked peppercorns.
