Spring44 is distilled 5 times from a proprietary blend of American grown grain. Unique virgin coconut carbon filtration produces a spirit of remarkable clarity and smoothness. All natural U.S. produced botanicals in our distillates. Spring44 products are blended with 100% Rocky Mountain Artesian Spring Water.

Spring 44 Vodka is made from what they describe as a “proprietary blend of American-grown grain.” It is filtered through a special “virgin coconut” carbon (charcoal) process (we don’t quite know what a “virgin” coconut is (anyone heard of a sullied coconut?) but we guess it suggests not having been used in any other filtration process). They note that there is not one drop of “municipal” water in the vodka but 100% Rocky Mountain artesian water.
Spring 44 Vodka Tasting Notes
Nose: Amazing clarity with a light reflecting brilliance. Initially slightly sweet, the aroma settles beautifully into hints of slate and rainwater. Nicely dry up front with an essence of grain.
Palate: An amazing creaminess with a velvety texture and depth on the mid palate.
Finish: Finish is long with a rye spiciness.

The word temperance means “total abstinence from all alcholic liquors.” Company is located in Temperance, MI. Full name is Temperance Distilling Company. Today They have over 60 clients producing more than 100 unique beverages for all different markets, demands, tastes, and locations. Pretty much the furthest thing from total abstinence.
